Following their previous track ‘Rose Bud’, South London band Artbreak are back with yet another infectiously funky indie number, ‘My Sweetheart, The Drunk’.

A blend of earthy, attention-grabbing vocals and funky pop guitar riffs commence the track, before the simplistic rhyming and catchiness of the lyrics begin: “Someone to judge you by your cover”. Strong vocals continue throughout the track, perfectly in sync with the quirky riffs and upbeat drums, creating yet another great hit by the band, showing off their full potential.

Adding a sense of mystery to the track are the distorted tones frequently heard throughout which, alongside the summery guitar riffs, make for a varied and engrossing sound.

This track is filled with a cocktail of talent on behalf of all members. We ARE judging Artbreak with their tracks ‘Rose Bud’ and now ‘My Sweetheart, The Drunk’ – and we’re loving them.
