Bang Bang Romeo release festive song, look back on an incredible 2017 and talk plans for 2018…

Bang Bang Romeo have had what seems like a meteoric year and it looks set to be even crazier next year. Here the band look back on their favourite moments of 2017 and what’s up their sleeve for 2018…
“We’ve been working with a brand new team of people, who since ‪August 1st‬ have recorded and developed our debut album, propelling us to a position where 2018 looks like it’s going to be a huge year for us. We couldn’t be happier, or more excited to share the journey we have on the horizon with you all… We already have major festival bookings confirmed as well as exciting opportunities overseas which we hope to be able to tell everybody all about very soon!

Since Ross and I started this band 7 years ago (yes you read that correctly) we have learned to stick to our guns, believe in ourselves, spread positivity, Respect one another and only create music that we love, with people that are honest and true. Here’s a festive tune for you too! Love Stars, Ross & Rich x”

We’ll drink to that. Respect. Right, here’s the bands highlights from 2017…

Here’s some of Bang Bang Romeo’s highlights, not including their play listing on Virgin Radio and Radio X, Radio 1, BBC Introducing, Sunday Brunch, multiple festival slots such as TRNSMT, Reading, IOW, Sound City and more, plus various collaborations with Pirate Studios. As said, it’s been some year!
1. We had the pleasure to play Red Stripe’s This Feeling TV, here’s Stars on the sofa with Gordon Smart, Abbey Clancy, Ratboy and Sundara Karma. Pleasure to be invited and yet another example of the opportunities that This Feeling have given us.
2. A shot of the crowd at our 2nd Isle of Wight Big Top show, such a huge moment in our career and fingers crossed we’ll be invited back
3. A crowd shot from our home show during the This Feeling Alive tour at Sheffield Plug. One of the best shows of our career, Stars was reduced to tears as the crowd sang back Natural Born Astronaut to us.
4. A shot of our show at Doncaster Pride, an important show and a cause we’re proud to support. Stars has supported Pride in our hometown for a number of years, and it was a pleasure to have the band fully behind her this year.
5. We were invited down twice to play the O2 Priority Lounge at The O2 in London before sold out shows with the Foo Fighters and The Killers.
6. The Alive Tour launch night and tour, incredible night and a statement for the future of guitar music. To pull off a tour of that scale containing largely unknown and unsigned bands, is a coup against all the nay-sayers and blind journalists ignoring the quality of guitar music out there at this time.
7. We were invited  to play a show with Pretty Vicious to launch the opening of the new NME Basement Bar with Estrella Galicia. Vey special night.
8. One of our most prized memories this year, filming the video for our first proper single “Chemical”. The video stars Ralph Ineson and Olivia Roach, and filmed/directed by David Dutton. It was amazing to work with such unbelievable talent and to also film it in our home town of Doncaster.
