Bit o Culcha?! – Rose Hill Design…rock n roll artwork.

We’re not just cigarettes n alcohol here at Gigslutz ya know, we can be cultured when we want to. Wine n everyfin.

This is why we’re in the mood to draw attention to Rose Hill and her awesome designs. Like us she started for a love of music and art and she’s fighting her way through the shark pool and looking like she’s gonna come out the other side still on her surfboard, having survived said surfing session, holding a fine glass of Malbec whilst doing that thing girls do when they’re drying their nails, and wearing the sort of finely pressed 60s influenced attire that you can’t quite pull off yourself apart from fancy dress parties.

Anyhoo, Check her inspired pieces out and get in touch with her if you want to acquire serious browny points in advance of a loved one’s birthday or simply for their home. It really is one of those get one in now before you see Serge has commissioned one and people are adding zeros to the price type scenarios. Heck, you could even order one before V day and pass on the good news of its impending arrival.

To help out on that front, contact Rose through her website and throw the words “I’m a gigslut” into your enquiry, and you’ll get a 10% off bonus delight.

Proper.

Here’s some more info copied and pasted from her facebook page innit:

Rose Hill got the stamp of approval straight out of Chelsea (with her 1st) by Charles Saatchi. Her very 1st job was commissioned by him to design and make his daughter’s 13th birthday dress. “You’re good aren’t you!” he cried!

It went from strength to strength with Amanda Elisach (Fashion Editor) commissioning her to make her son a waistcoat for his graduation. “I Love your things as you know xxx” she said.

On a roll Charlie Allen (tailor, designed England’s World Cup kit 2010) asked her to design his Logo. Loved Rose so much he asked her to work for him for over a year.

For the next 6 years Rose completed more commissions, freelance in girlswear prints and garment design, womens’ wear prints and garment design internationally, created a whole brand identity and helped design Abigail Ahern’s new product line for Debenhams, also contributed to her new book ‘Decorating with style’, with Abigail stating “Her paintings, prints and illustrations make you happy the moment you set eyes on them.”

Rose wanted more, and created her own brand in January 2013, creating Patterned Portraits Products: Artworks, Notebooks, Gift Cards, Dresses and Bespoke Commissions already making an impact, adding the likes of Gizzi Erskine, Sadie frost and many more to Rose’s customer base.
