Bristol Band Elder Island Release Key One

Bristol based trio Elder Island have released their latest track ‘Key One’. With a bass heavy Pop Dance sound it’s the kind of mix that will have you thinking of Clean Bandit. Already tipped for major things in 2017 Key One is a single all about it’s funk infused melody.

Reminiscent of Quantic Soul Orchestra, Elder Island are all about shaping effortless soundscapes for their audience. Made up of Katy David and Luke the band draw on all their influences to create their music meaning their arrangements and production are not typical of any one genre but a mix and blend of many.

The band’s lead singer Katy showcases her deft touch on the track with the funky melody the pefect match for her vocal, sweet and harmonious without being sickly, ‘Key One’ is a great pick for the christmas party this festive season.

Their second EP ‘Seeds in Sand’ is out now and available to buy and stream. A follow up to 2014’s self titled EP ‘Seeds in Sand’ has been lovingly mastered by John Davis who has worked with major names including The XX and FKA Twigs.
