C. SHIROCK delivers the philosophical “All We Have Is This Moment”

Los Angeles based musician C. SHIROCK finds inspiration in many things – from his multi-cultural upbringing, to his love for intelligent pop artists such as Peter Gabriel and David Bowie. But his latest release touches on something more meaningful and potent. “All We Have Is This Moment” was inspired by his passion for philosophy, in particular Seneca. Written to remind others to live in the moment and not take anything for granted, C. SHIROCK hopes he can spread some positivity during such unprecedented times.

The musician shares, “Never has this song felt more true – with so much uncertainty in the world, so much fear and so many questions, all we have is today.  For me this is a constant reminder to live fully wherever I am. I’ve wasted too many days living for some future that I don’t even know if it will come. It’s a song about learning to ‘live immediately.’ – a phrase from one of my favorite philosophers, Seneca.”

“All We Have Is This Moment” features oscillating synths, eerie vocals and sweeping soundscapes which engulf the listener. The thought-provoking track tugs at your heart strings and encourages you to take a look at your life through a different lens.
