Klaxons played their last ever UK gig last night in front of an emotional London crowd.
Having announced they were splitting a mere 10 days ago on Twitter with the post: “After what’s been nearly 9 bananas years we’d like to let you know that we’ve decided the upcoming dates will be our last headline tour” – the end finally came last night (November 4th) at Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
It’s been a career spanning eight blissful years, which has seen the band duet with Rihanna and support Blur along the road. And to savour the occasion, the band played a greatest hit set which included most of their 2007 Mercury Award winning LP Myths Of The Near Future.
And as well as that Keira Knightley, James Murphy, James Ford, Daisy Lowe, Kate Tempest, Joe Daniel, Fred Macpherson, Jas Shaw and Harry Enfield were all in attendance to give the lads a memorable send off…
