Cesar Saez croons in sweeping single “If You”

Mexican born artist Cesar Saez is known for his stunning serenades through a rare blend of psychedelic baroque pop. Now he unveils his latest single ‘If You An impassioned James Bondesque track, it highlights delicate lush strings and gritty psych guitars. Thematically ‘If You’ touches on themes of lost love and heartbreak creating a highly emotive song not only sonically, but lyrically as well. The single is co-produced by Grammy nominated Spanish producer/engineer Juan De Dios.

Growing up in Mexico City, Saez witnessed his mother’s partner charm her with Bolero and he began to be intoxicated by its romanticism. Inspired by the traditional stylings of artist such as Pedro Infante and Agustin Lara, he crafts a sound that fuses vintage influences with contemporary. Now residing in Los Angeles his musical influences range from Radiohead to Scott Walker and the 60’s pop his dad used to play for him.

Saez made his mark on the music scene touring with two rock bands, The Bixby Knolls and the Wallburd. He’s shared stages with prominent band such as Los Amigos Invisibles, Bomba Estéreo, Gaby Moreno, and others both solo and in bands.
