Chloe Mogg tackles disability on ‘Attack’

Chloe Mogg shares her third single of the year ‘Attack’, tackling the social awkwardness surrounding disabilities and mental health.

The singer-songwriter based in Stourport, Worcestershire, says: “It’s about how I always felt I had to apologise in advance for my mental health and my disabilities.”  Mogg, who suffers from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (M.E), Fibromyalgia and Anxiety, aims to raise awareness for the millions out there suffering in the shadows of the current pandemic. “After all… it’s not the only pandemic going on,” she says.

Gaining support from 6Music and others for her bewitching voice, often highlighted by stripped back arrangements that touch on psychedelic, Mogg says the track came froma  dark place but has evolved into something that she’s proud to share. “It’s moody, theatrical and orchestral, and exactly how I imagined it to sound in my head.”
