Online platform Fame Music are launching a hip hop music competition titled Global Rap Superstar.

An all-star line-up of hip hop artists and music producers have joined the movement to help find the next big thing. The winner of the competition will be flown to Las Vegas, USA, and record a track at the Palms Studio with Damon Elliott and Hopsin. In addition to the single, the artist will shoot a music video and perform the track live at an event in Los Angeles, California.

Hopeful contenders are being asked to upload one original track and a 30 second video to Fame Music where users vote for their favourite track, before 15 finalists are chosen. The winner will be announced on 15th December after votes are recorded by both the public and the professional panel.

Damon Elliott said, “If you think you have what it takes and you’re on some authentic real hip hop, check out FameMusic.com and sign up”

Hopsin added, “I’m really excited to be a part of the Global Rap Superstar competition, especially as I’ll be co-producing the winner’s track. Fame offers such a versatile platform for young musicians, and I hope we find some really talented rappers out there.”
