BACARDÍ Beginnings aims to encourage people to pursue their passions. And now, following exposure from the BACARDÍ Beginnings music-mentoring platform in 2013, up-and-coming UK talent Bipolar Sunshine, Roses Gabor and Bobbie Gordon are each set to make their mark on the music industry this year.
Established acts Rudimental, Toddla T and Bloc Party’s Kele Okereke all took part to select and champion breakthrough artists Bipolar Sunshine, Roses Gabor and Bobbie Gordon in a series of projects, which saw them create three tracks and challenge the boundaries of music releases.
The latter of the projects – Bobbie Gordon – recently recorded the two-step dance track ‘Down Boy’ (BACARDÍ Beginnings) with mentor Kele Okereke, in an ambitious project which saw the track released for the first time on 3D printed vinyl and sold at the world’s first 3D printing record store, below Phonica Records, in London. The record sleeves were designed by Studio Moross and sold out within 48 hours!
