Following it’s 10th birthday celebrations last year, The Beat-Herder Festival returns to the North East in July for 3 more days of huge headliners and secret raves. Primal Scream top the bill, with ’60s folk-pop legend Donovan also playing, joined by Miike Snow, Dub Pistols and Digitalism.
Cash+David, The Vryll Society and Yonaka represent new music across the genres, but as with any decent festival there’s more to Beat-Herder than the main stages. The hand-made site, in Lancashire’s Ribble Valley, features tunnels to raves, secret swimming pools and even a chapel with a Sunday service.
Originally a free rave, dance music still plays a huge part in the festival’s line-up; Sacha, Jamie Berry, JFB and many more will take to the decks of The Ring, while for something a little more laid back Beans On Toast, Louis Berry and the Fairey Brass Band are all on hand.
Tickets are still available here, but for your chance to win 2 enter the competition below. Good luck! The competition closes on Sunday May 15th.
