Cooking Soup’s Christmas Party Brings The Tea Street Band To London

Another fine year for CookingSoup will be rounded off at Nambucca London with a stellar line up and Gigslutz will be there to enjoy the festivities.

Headlining are Liverpool’s The Tea Street Band. The band are about to release their debut album on Warners Worldwide. This year they have headlined gigs in New York, Australia, supported the Charlatans at Kendall Calling and St Georges hall. Not bad! They also released the epic ‘Disco Lights’, one the best singles released in recent years. New single Lost for Words is out now on itunes.

The Mercanaries make a rapid return to Nambucca to play another Cooking Soup event also. That must mean they are half decent in anyone’s eyes, whilst Violet Class championed by the likes of Stephen Street, Pretty Green, and Gary Bushell also play  bringing you their winning combination of the buzz of football and music with a punk soul attitude. Strong intoxicating and catchy psychedelic indie pop numbers make for a modern twist on their 90s genealogy and have most recently supported their musical heroes The Charlatans and John Power.

Step On Djs will be in action, in addition to Cooking Soup resident, the mercurial Manc, the one and only Phil Smith (fame aint changed him…. DJ Phil Smith Apreciation Society)
