Also joining the lineup are Hercules & Love Affair, Roots Manuva, Kwabs, The Antlers, Slaves, Saint Raymond and All We Are.
Being renowned for ‘punching above its weight’ with the acts it hosts, Standon Calling hasn’t disappointed this year.
Having celebrated their own 20th anniversary last year, it’s time for Portland rockers The Dandy Warhols to assist someone else, joining previously announced Basement Jaxx in the top slots for the festival’s 10th anniversary lineup.
The lineup remains as eclectic as ever; pop outsiders Little Dragon will bring their unique sounds, while the likes of Roots Manuva bring UK hip-hop to the festival. And as always, they aren’t hesitant to support rising talent. Brit winner Ella Eyre joins the lineup, as well as the wonderfully noisy BBC Sound of 2015 duo Slaves.
With it’s birthday celebrations meticulously – and no doubt, flawlessly – planned, this year’s Standon Calling promises to be the best yet. What started off as a modest birthday BBQ with a handful of friends and DJs has slowly warped into one of the best summer escapes for festival-goers. Not only does the festival offer a fantastic musical lineup, attendees can expect art, comedy, and even a heated outdoor pool… What more could you want?
The festival takes place in Hertfordshire, between 31st July and 2nd August.
Tier 1 tickets are nearly sold out and are on sale from £117 from www.standon-calling.com; tier 2 tickets will start at £127.
