EP: SKiNNY MiLK - 'Daydream' - GigslutzGigslutz

Brighton duo SKiNNY MiLK are back on Gigslutz’ radar with their second EP Daydream, and trust us when we say it’s equally as formidable as their debut offering.

Bassist & Vocalist Johnny, and Drummer Tim spent most of 2016 performing live across London and around their hometown, but they managed to find time to record three new tracks at Ford Lane Studios with the mixing and mastering skills of Rob Quickenden.

Opener ‘Alright’ brims with SKiNNY MiLK’s trademark fuzzy vocals, relentless drumming, and lyrics that will leave you “tongue-tied”. The amps have been cranked up for this recording, making for a fuller, louder sound. Second track ‘Slip down the Hole’ is laced with more of Johnny’s mesmeric vocals and wickedly sharp bass lines, whilst Tim’s drumming will continue to knock your brain cells about in all the right ways.

Closing the EP is the eponymous ‘Daydream’, a twisted, heavy lullaby that will push SKiNNY MiLK’s second EP to the top of your ‘must listen to’ list. Just imagine how good a full length album would sound (we’ve got goosebumps thinking about it already. No pressure guys.)
