EXCLUSIVE: IKES premieres video for ‘No Commercial’ on Gigslutz

Screen Shot 2014-11-07 at 10.12.02Hackney rapper IKES has been entertaining hip hop fans on both sides of the Atlantic for a while now with his distinguished mix of raw realism, cheeky lyricism and clever wordplay. Following a five date college tour in the US, IKES has returned to the UK and we can exclusively bring you the premiere of the visuals for his latest track ‘No Commercial’.

Having gained a lot of heat in the US with ‘No Commercial’, including support from ‘The Mixtape King’ DJ Whoo Kid, who premiered the audio, whilst also impacting the hip hop charts with top 20 entries on the Rapnetwork and Rap Attack charts, IKES has put himself in a great position to enjoy a huge 2015!

Having featured on mixtapes alongside Drake and The-Dream and also having hit single ‘Girl Talk’ ft. Scorcher & Jermaine Riley under his belt, IKES knows exactly what it takes to make catchy and original UK hip hop and ‘No Commercial’ is a further example of that. With a new vigor and drive, alongside a number of upcoming performances, including the influential SXSW festival in 2015, ‘No Commercial’ is the first in a series of new tracks to come from IKES and if this is a sign of things to come, we can’t wait to hear the rest.
