Exclusive Premiere: Daydream Frenzy – ‘Jade’s Song’

Scottish trio, Daydream Frenzy, take influences from many different genres, combining them to make their own blend of Alternative Rock. The band formed in January 2010 when Donald Barclay (vocals/guitar) and Hamish Gordan (drums) started jamming acoustically at school. Fraser Henderson (bass) then joined to bring in a heavier sound, eventually forming the band you hear now. Four years later, the boys have received support from Kerrang! Radio, Amazing Radio and Scuzz TV. The band have also supported the likes of Big Country, The Maine and Don Bronco and will be embarking on a co-headline tour with Divides later this year.

Compared to the likes of Jimmy Eat World, fellow Scots Biffy Clyro and Twin Atlantic, Daydream Frenzy ooze catchy pop-rock filled with emotive harmonies, pounding beats and thrashing guitars. With their debut album due out at the end of next month, the band have now shared their brand new single ‘Jade’s Song’, and you can hear it here first!

Pride And Wonder, the debut album from Daydream Frenzy is out 30th March.
