Scottish guitar band, The Moon Kids, aim to “make music that’ll make your heart beat a little faster”. And it seems they succeeded in doing this when taking part in Nashville’s International Songwriting Competition recently, with Run DMC, Tom Waits and London Grammar being amongst the judges who voted them into the finals.
With this accolade under their belts, The Moon Kids are now set to release new single, ‘Strange Thoughts On A Sunday’. Recorded with Michael Brennan Jnr (Mogwai, Super Furry Animals, Snow Patrol), this track is a twinkling slice of indie-pop oozing youthful, adrenalin-filled indie-pop melodies.
