Canshaker Pi – a Dutch band just out of their teens – first record was produced by a hero of theirs in lo-fi legend Stephen Malkmus and only last month the band also got to tour Europe with Scott Kannberg (Spiral Stairs), also of Pavement,  so it’s fair to say they’re making waves. Those waves are only gonna get bigger, new single ‘Pressure From Above’ is an absolute corker, a track the likes of Stephen or Graham Coxon would be proud to call their own and have announced dates supporting The Cribs in December. Ones to watch.
