Mersey mavericks The Coral return in majestic form with Super Furry sounding new single ‘Sweet Release’ taken from the forthcoming album ‘Move Through The Dawn’ due August 17 on Ignition Records.

To coincide with the bands 9th studio album album Coral keys wizard Nick Power has written ‘Into The Void’ an insightful, amusing and evocative first hand account of the recording, release and touring of ‘Distance Inbetween’ which came after a five-year hiatus for the band.

“Yeah. We should aim for something a bit more song-based now, change it up a bit. Like some kind of surf thing. The Beach Boys in Llandudno. Phil Spector and The Ramones. Dion in the 70’s. A strange Mexican cartoon.” The Coral, always moving forwards, never disappointing. We can’t wait to hear what this album brings.
