There’s pockets of resistance to the X Factor and all that bollocks popping up all over the UK, none more so than in Swindon where bands such as Misfires, Yves and The Sulks are building their own local scene. To those three you can add Getrz whose new single ‘Mother’ is a highly anthemic high class mix of shoe gaze and garage rock.

The band have just finished their first UK headline tour and make their This Feeling debut this month. Ones to watch.
