This Feeling Track of the Day : Our Girl ‘Our Girl’

Our Girl are back with brand new single “Our Girl” their first new music since they released their self-titled debut EP November 2016. Quite a gap. Soph Nathan explains…”Our Girl was the first song I ever wrote, the first song we played together, and the first demo we ever recorded and shared with people. We ended up naming the band after it! So this song feels like the perfect re-introduction to everything we’ve got coming.”

The talented trio, capable of switching from stark tenderness to pulverising noise in a flash, formed in Brighton but are now London-based, began the recording of their debut album in September 2017 with Bill Ryder-Jones (The Wytches, Hooton Tennis Club). “Our Girl” is the first taste of those album sessions, a driving, melodic tour de force that showcases Our Girl at their very best.

Yesterday the band headed out on the DIY Class of 2018 tour with Pale Waves which runs through to March before their debut performance stateside at Austin’s SXSW and then they support The Magic Gang. See all dates below.
