Sometimes something comes along from out of nowhere and blows you away. The Haze, a precocious ferocious gang of four 18 year olds from Devon, are clearly inspired by Arctic Monkeys, The Amazons and others, but create a huge sound that’s all their own. The bands debut release, EP1, is wall to wall big riffs, chant-along-choruses and meaty drums – seriously impressive.

The band have supported VANT, RedFaces and support Liam Gallager and Libertines favourites Trampolene tonight Plymouth The Junction. These boys are creating a stir down in the South West and once word gets around (and it will), it’s sure to spread. Ones to watch.
