This Feeling Track of the Day : Reverend & The Makers ‘Too Tough To Die’

Reverend & The Makers 6th album ‘The Death Of A King’, (out on Cooking Vinyl 22nd September) sees Jon McClure in a happy place. Gone the desire to recreate ‘Heavyweight Champion of the World’ days, NME covers, play-lists and all that. In comes a new zone.

“I’m 35. I have a new set of concerns . I see the world in a different way now so I’m trying to be true to who I am today.”

It’s done wonders, clearly; the first song to be taken from the album, ‘Too Tough To Die’, is an absolute belter and Jon McClure, who recently shared a stage with The Libertines and Jeremy Corbyn, as well as always championing new bands/new music, has never been more relevant or important.
