Twisted Wheel were barely out their teens when they opened the last Oasis tour in 2009, and hyped as “the next big thing”, never an easy crown to wear. Sure enough, the band fell apart, chewed up and spat out by an unforgiving music industry. Close to a decade later, the band are back, revitalised, energised, and sounding stronger and more relevant than ever.

‘Johnny Guitar’, the lead single off new EP, is both a thank you for the fans that have welcomed them back and stayed faithful over the past decade and a teaser for the imminent and eagerly awaited album appearing later this year. After two huge shows supporting Liam Gallagher at Finsbury Park and Lancashire Cricket Club and a UK number 1 in the physical charts in June this year, it’s safe to say The Wheel is back turning and the boys are back where they belong.
