Hope & Glory Festival announce James as Saturday night headliners

Taking over Liverpool’s city centre on 5th and 6th August, Hope & Glory have made their inaugural event bigger and better.

Following the news that 70-piece orchestra Haçienda Çlassical will be closing the festival, Manchester’ James have been confirmed as Saturday night headliners, joined on The Great Exhibition stage by Razorlight, The Fratellis, Charlotte Church’s Late Night Pop Dungeon, The View and many more.

Starsailor are the latest addition to the Wonders Of The Age stage, playing alongside the likes of Lucy Spraggan, Zutons’ Dave McCabbe and The Coral’s Ian Skelly.

On Sunday, Haçienda Classiçal will be joined by special guests Shaun Ryder and Bez from the Happy Mondays with Tim Booth from James also now featuring, whilst Ocean Colour Scene play The Great Exhibition Stage alongside Tom Chaplin, Lighting Seeds and Public Service Broadcasting.

Prior to the big finale, The Twang, The Shimmer Band and The Blinders will grace Liverpool with their sets.

The festival is set behind St. George’s Hall, in St John’s Gardens and William Brown Street. Early-bird ticket purchasers will also be able to attend and exclusive free gig the night before.
