Inhaler share energetic video for new single ‘We Have To Move On’

Having released new single ‘We Have To Move On’ at the end of last month, fast-rising Dublin quartet Inhaler share the accompanying video. Shot late last month in London and directed by David Helman – behind visuals for the likes of Michael Kiwanuka, Vince Staples and Octavian – it’s an energetic performance video that offers a glimpse into the four-piece’s frenzied, unmissable live shows.

Inhaler were recently announced as fifth place in the BBC Sound Of 2020 and are set to begin an extensive UK tour tomorrow, that will include a sold-out show at London’s Heaven on Thursday 20th February, their biggest headline show to date. With a highly anticipated run of North American dates this spring and summer festival appearances including Latitude, Open’er and NOS Alive locked in, with more to be announced, the band will support Kings of Leon at their huge Finsbury Park show this summer following a slot with Kasabian at their huge hometown show at Leicester’s Victoria Park.

Four friends, Inhaler formed the band while they were still at school, Elijah Hewson, Robert Keating, Ryan McMahon and Josh Jenkinson bonded over a love of similar groups, taking in The Stone Roses, Joy Division, The Strokes, Depeche Mode, Interpol, Kings Of Leon, The Cure and more.
Over a handful of singles, they have amassed a diehard fanbase, with their tracks being streamed over 10 million times. They make songs about being young and finding your way, music that connects. “I’m just trying to write about the joy of being alive, being a teenager, and the bad things that can come with that. I don’t like it to be all happy, I don’t like it to be all sad,” says frontman Hewson.
