INTRODUCING: Seinabo Sey

Set to have a storming 2015 having amassed a host of fans and YouTube views throughout this year, Swedish soul-pop singer Seinabo Sey is an artist on the rise.

Signed to Universal Music, Sey has released a handful of tracks in Europe which have performed extremely well on the charts, with the Norwegian music buying public loving her sounds in particular! Having caught the ear of the US Billboard Dance chart with the Kygo Remix of her track ‘Younger’, Sey stormed to the attention of UK tastemakers. Having been named on numerous ‘one to watch’ lists for 2015, including Vevo, prepare to hear this lady’s name a lot more in the upcoming months.

Whilst she begins to enjoy the success that she rightfully deserves, it hasn’t always been plain sailing for Sey. Moving to Gambia when she was just six years old was a culture shock and has had a strong influence on the dramatic and thought provoking music she is currently making. Her soulful vocals are the kind which only come around once in a blue moon and as such, she is an artist who has the potential to forge herself a worldwide following in the coming year.

Not one to make conventional pop chart hits, the 23 year old has an extremely wise head on those young shoulders and with the backing of a major record label such as Universal, the possibility of world domination is in her hands, so lets see if she can make it happen. In the meantime, check out the videos for some of her recent tracks below and remember the name…Seinabo Sey.
