Reading and Leeds have revealed the second batch of acts to play this year’s festival, which includes headliners Kasabian.
Kasabian will take to the main stage, alongside the already-announced Muse. Their sixth studio album will be released in spring, but their set will include tracks from throughout their career from West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum to 48:13. Their show at Reading and Leeds will be a UK Festival Exclusive.
Kasabian said: “It’s been five years, and as a band we have come a long way since then. We’re looking forward to playing tunes from the new record and bringing the mosh pit to Reading & Leeds Festival!”
They made their long-awaited return to music last year, and will make a return to Reading and Leeds this year. Two Door Cinema Club are back, and said: “It’s so good to be back at Reading and Leeds, it’s always a highlight of our summer. Good to see so many guitar bands on the bill this year as well.”
The infamous and iconic Fatboy Slim will be joining the line-up, alongside Wiley and Circa Waves. Rat Boy will also be returning to this year’s festivals.
Reading and Leeds have bagged themselves lots of UK Festival Exclusive performances this year. Flume, Jimmy Eat World and The Amity Affliction have all been announced today, and won’t be added to the line-ups of any other UK festivals.
