Kasabian and Liam Gallagher to headline Isle Of Wight Festival 2018

The headliners and first acts for the 50th anniversary of Isle Of Wight Festival have been revealed in the form of Blossoms, Liam Gallagher and Kasabian.

An indie-lovers wet dream; the Isle Of Wight Festival 2018 is set to take place from June 21-24 at Seaclose Park, Isle Of Wight.  Headliners for the 50th birthday celebrations will be Depeche Mode, The Killers – coinciding with the announcement of their 2018 stadium tour dates which can be checked out HERE – former Glastonbury Headliners, Kasabian and the man of the moment, Liam Gallagher.

As well as the four headliners for the festivities acts such as The Script, James Bay, Van Morrison and Stockport’s Blossoms have all been announced to be performing at the four-day event.

The Isle Of Wight 2018 festival organiser, John Giddings, said that “This year’s lineup brings together the best bands of the moment. ‘

“This is a special year as it celebrates 50 years since the festival’s first incarnation so it is fantastic to celebrate with returning artists and those appearing for the first time.”

It is notable to mention that the first announcement of artists who will be gracing IOW 2018 does not feature any female representation, other than the backing singers which make up Liam Gallagher’s touring band.

Tickets for Isle Of Wight Festival 2018 are available to purchase now.
