Kate Bush Set To Release Lyric Book ‘How To Be Invisible’

The book will be introduced by David Mitchell, with a collection of Bush‘s best works from the past 40 years. Kate Bush‘s release will follow Florence Welch’s lyric and poetry book named ‘Useless Magic’, which was released in July.

Speaking on his collaboration with Kate Bush, he says: “For millions around the world Kate is way more than another singer-songwriter: she is a creator of musical companions that travel with you through life. One paradox about her is that while her lyrics are avowedly idiosyncratic, those same lyrics evoke emotions and sensations that feel universal.”

Faber and Faber will be publishing the novel, which is an independent publishing house in the UK, responsible for the lyric books for Ian Curtis, Jarvis Cocker and Van Morrison.

It has not been discussed which songs will feature in the book, but you can find out when the book arrives in stores on 6th December 2018 – one to certainly add to the Christmas list.
