LISTEN: Alista Marq shares awesome new track ‘Vice’

Following the success of his debut single ‘Forest‘, East London artist Alista Marq is back with the brilliant follow up ‘Vice‘ and it’s every bit as good as his initial offering.

Produced by Stevie Dutch, ‘Vice’ is full of sliding strings and melodic bass surrounded by Marq’s fusion of both rapping and singing, creating a truly exciting track. It’s something that will catch the ears of both Hip Hop and R&B fans as it really finds the sweet spot between the two genres. The 22-year-old Londoner described the track as “that moment you realise the girl you thought you once wanted isn’t good for you” and the story he depicts of falling for someone who was too good to be true is brilliantly brought to life by his glossy vocals.

If you haven’t yet got Alista Marq on your list of artists to watch this year then you better update it. ‘Vice’ is a track taken from his forthcoming project Northern Line and based on what we’ve heard from it so far, it’s going to be something special.
