LISTEN: The Assist release new single ‘Give It To Me’

The Assist, have had a massive impact on 2017 since their debut EP, ‘Trouble’, went iTunes Alt Chart Top 20 this spring). Recent single, ‘Wonderful’, made the Spotify Viral 50.

They have now shared ‘Give It To Me’, their most defining release to date, released on 6th October 2017 via This Feeling Records.

Front man Mikey Stanton says of the track: “The song explains an internal argument within my own brain as a result of the difficulties that come with balancing the good times and trying to make a difference. It’s all fun and games until you have built up such a persona for the band that you then have to start living up to the expectation of it all”. Scroll down to check it out.

The Assist have already made a difference. They started the year tipped as ‘Big In 2017’ by the increasingly influential, This Feeling and ‘Ones To Watch’ by BBC Introducing, then went on exceed expectations. They have smashed festival sets all summer, including Reading, Y Not?, TRNSMT and Isle Of Wight and won even more hearts supporting Ratboy and The Twang at home and are just back from making a massive impression in Paris, as special guests of Black Honey.
