LISTEN: We Came From Wolves – ‘Ruiner’

Robert Whytock, Kyle Burgess, Andy Donaldson and Michael MacKay together have formed the newly anticipated band We Came From Wolves. Originating from Scotland, this talented quartet evidently draw inspiration from fellow Scot, Biffy Clyro, as well as the soft, rocky tones of the likes of Arctic Monkeys.

Soon to be releasing their track ‘Ruiner’, We Came From Wolves have already had praise from dependable sources such as Rock Sound, Amazing Radio and even the recently revamped Radio X.

An impeccable combination of indie and heavier rock blend together in ‘Ruiner’, with an attention-grabbing bass line introducing the first bar of the track. Highlighted by accompanying drum beats, within the verses especially, the calm vocals contrast with the harsh guitar work present through the entirety of the track.  Falsely implying the track is drawing to an end, a crescendo is reached before the charged guitar-warped ending.

From this track alone, this strikingly credible band have shown their conspicuous worth.

‘Ruiner’ is out 18 March on Saraseto Records.
