LISTEN: ‘Can’t Stop Me Now’ is new R&B goodness from Liz Lubega

Taken from her forthcoming EP entitled The Process, contemporary Gospel singer Liz Lubega has returned with her brand new single ‘Can’t Stop Me Now‘. Having previously worked with MOBO Award winner Guvna B and had her voice described by Emeli Sande as “…beautiful velvet sounds”, it’s no wonder we’re loving this latest effort.

It’s a truly uplifting and motivational track that sees Liz showcase her colossal vocal talent and with the track’s message being that women should never give up, sharing it on International Women’s Day was a nice touch. The soulful, guitar-led R&B sounds on ‘Can’t Stop Me Now’ are a brillaintly smooth precursor to the upcoming EP and talking about the track, Liz said,

“Can’t Stop Me Now was written as an uplifting and encouraging ‘survivor’ anthem. I think we can all relate to having periods in life that get quite tough and we are unable to live life to the capacity we normally would. This was based on one of those periods.”
