What’s 19 years old, from Surrey and is bringing R&B back to the forefront of the UK scene in a big way? It’s you new favourite artist – Charlotte Turnbull.

The vastly talented up & comer has spent years crafting her sound and has just shared her delightful new track ‘Sundown‘. Taken from her forthcoming EP Making My Way, the track offers a glimpse at we we can expect to hear from Turnbull on the release and we’re already huge fans. The dreamy piano hook draws you in and when combined with Turnbull’s tender vocals and a slick rapped verse thrown in for good measure, you’ve got the foundations for a brilliant track.

With her influences coming in the shape of artists such as Aaliyah, Lisa Left Eye and SWV, it’s no wonder that she’s embraced such a glossy R&B vibe herself and her talents aren’t going unnoticed. She recently teamed up with rapper/producer Pep, who was a guest on the most recent Gigslutz Urban show on Hoxton Radio, for a track on his highly anticipated forthcoming project No Stars.

So with plenty more to come from her across 2016, make sure you’re following Charlotte Turnbull on Twitter to keep up to date with all her latest news and prepare to hear her name a lot more as the year progresses.
