LISTEN: Chicago rapper King Green shares new track ‘Don’t Play’

Don’t miss ‘Don’t Play‘, the fresh new track to light up 2016 from US rapper King Green.

Hailing from Chicago, King Green has put out a host of solid music over the last few months with tracks like ‘MIC’ and ‘Blasting’ picking up a large number of plays on his Soundcloud (here). Talking about ‘Don’t Play’, King Green said,

“In a world where playing around can get you caught up, sometimes it’s cool to just sit back and don’t play with the drama. ‘Don’t Play’ can mean not playing with the cops if you’re black or it can mean not playing when it comes to being in a relationship with the one who means most.”

King Green’s smooth flow glides perfectly over the atmospheric beat and if this is an example of the kind of sounds we can expect to hear from him across the rest of the year, then we’re excited to hear more from this artist on the rise.
