LISTEN: Cold Water Swimmers share new single ‘ROBOTS’

Cold Water Swimmers have shared their latest single ‘ROBOTS’.

The hotly tipped Manchester based three piece, fronted by former Dub Sex and Rude Club guitarist Chris Bridgett, have spent much of 2019 winning rave reviews putting on sell out DIY shows and winning fans since their debut release “Summer Breeze” in March 2019.

ROBOTS is a 2.44 minute punk rock party of a tune that kicks off with a thunderous bass line and the lyrics “Where do you think you’ll be in five years’ time”. The song builds to one of the catchiest choruses you’ll hear all year drawing comparisons to many of the great original punk bands.

Bridgett says “ROBOTS is a story of the rise of the robots humans becoming obsolete and all of humanity walking blindly into a future (no future) where technology controls us all, wrapped up in the sort of punk rock tune my 12 year-old self would have jumped round the  bedroom to!”
