LISTEN: Colour share new track ‘Chains’

COLOUR release the fourth and final track form their EP ‘The Famous Boy Making Things’. ‘Chains’ is an Arcade Fire / Bowie influenced song that features COLOUR’s now trademark guitar sound. The lyrics follow the story of a man trying to force his circumstances to change. Listen below

Other notable tracks from the EP include previous single ‘Black’, described by Tom Robinson as “the strongest and most original tune of the week,” on his BBC Radio show recently, and ‘Minus’, or “Sparks meets Talking Heads in a space ship, reading The Guardian” as one reviewer put it.

The band recently kicked off their 2018 with a SPOTLIGHT gig at London’s Camden Assembly, alongside Sick Joy and 485c. Their 2nd London show of the year will take place on April 10th at Covent Garden’s Roadhouse as part of the #SaveRoadhouse campaign.

‘The Famous Boy Making Things’ EP was co-produced by the band and Dan Swift (Kasabian, Snow Patrol) and was recorded at the band’s own studio on the northwest coast of England. Says Dan of the band: “Average bands sound like their heroes, good bands sound like other good bands and great bands sound like themselves. COLOUR are a great band”.
