LISTEN: DJ Cameo brings together six MCs for new track ‘Jus Cool Nah’

When you get a Darq E Freaker grime beat, it’s safe to presume that it’s going to be amazing. What about if you add DJ Cameo as executive producer? Well ‘Just Cool Nah’ is exactly that and he’s brought along a group of top MCs to sweeten the deal.

Screen Shot 2014-11-02 at 13.08.33Featuring Scrufizzer, Drifter, Lil Nasty, Big H, Saskilla and C Cane, ‘Jus Cool Nah’ consists of a melodic siren that glides neatly over the bassy beat and with the added fire and raw flows from the MCs on show, this track is a guaranteed club smash.

With Mistajam taking the world premiere on his BBC Radio 1 show, ‘Just Cool Nah’ is a reminder of the kind of quality that can be achieved when MCs work together across the scene, with members of various collectives present on this track. With the huge wave of support that grime is currently enjoying this year, we hope that the rest of the scene can follow suit and produce bodies of work to the same standard as this in order to ensure that wave continues for a while to come.
