DMA’S have today unveiled new single ‘Dawning’, to be released 2nd December around their upcoming UK tour dates.
DMA’S return to the UK this winter as main support for The Kooks arena tour and have also added their own headline shows at London’s Heaven on Wednesday 22nd November & Motherwell’s Centre on Wednesday 29thNovember (full dates below).
‘Dawning’ sees DMA’S make a strong return with a tune that illustrates the band’s much-loved talent for pop-writing and offers lyrics and melody that clash stylistically for the purpose of creating a wider meaning to the music. Vocalist Tommy O’Dell explains; “We’re giving people the opportunity to decide what the song means to them… we wanted the song to convey a dark message but at the same time create a piece of music that sounds uplifting & hopeful.”
DMA’S are currently recording their new album, due 2018.
