Listen: George The Poet shares new track ‘If The Shoe Fits (Part 1)’

Spoken word artist George The Poet has released the audio for the first single from his upcoming EP The Chicken and The Egg.

‘If The Shoe Fits (Part 1)’ which features guest vocals from soul singer Mega, who has worked with George The Poet on several other tracks previously, is an intense tale of the raw emotion that an unhappy and unfaithful relationship can go through and gives an insight into the minds of the people involved and how a “knight in shining armour” can save the day.

The chilled guitar instrumental loops hypnotically underneath the fresh, flowing lyrics which, when combined together, serve up a six minute masterclass in narrating human emotion.
