The biggest production trio of the moment, The HeavyTrackerz have shared their brand new track ‘Old Habits’ via BBC 1Xtra.
Responsible for Meridian Dan’s number 13 hit ‘German Whip’, plus his new single ‘One Too Many’ as well as the UK remix for Vic Mensa’s ‘Down on my Luck’; The HeavyTrackerz take a slight diversion from the grimey sounds we have come to expect from them, as they switch up the flow with their first solo release.
Featuring Yana Toma on vocals, the track combines catchy piano and bass riffs with a driving house beat, showcasing their broad abilities in producing tracks across musical genres and with that whispered tag as their track trademark, there’s no doubt when it’s a ‘Trackerz’ production.
Signing to Bucks Music Group this year and having previously produced for the likes of Wiley, Big Narstie, Roll Deep, JME, Jammer, Ghetts, & Newham Generals, the production outfit have been a staple favorite for artists, but the trio’s public awareness really rose when ‘German Whip’ was released earlier this year.
