Kate Tempest has also been named a Record Store Day champion for the 2017 Record Store Day UK as for the very first time, RSD has enlisted 5 official UK champions to celebrate the event’s 10th birthday.
This coming May will also see Kate Tempest perform at her biggest headline yet, in her hometown of South London playing on Saturday 27th May at o2 Academy Brixton.
2017 is proving to be a mammoth year for Kate as she’s also been announced as the guest director for Brighton Festival! Kate joins a prestigious line of curators, previously the role has been taken on by Vanessa Redgrave, Brian Eno, Michael Rosen and more.
