Listen to the new Wolf Alice track ‘Heavenward’

Wolf Alice have debuted a final new song, ‘Heavenward’, in advance of their forthcoming eagerly anticipated second album, Visions Of A Life, due 29 September. ‘Heavenward’ is the stunning opening track on the album and was debuted as Zane Lowe’s ‘World Record’ on his Beats 1 show earlier today. Written about the death of a friend, it’s one of the biggest songs Wolf Alice have ever done, both sonically and emotionally.

Visions Of A Life is the follow up to Wolf Alice’s 2015 Gold-selling debut album My Love Is Cool, which hit No. 2 in the UK charts and No. 12 on the Billboard alternative albums chart in the US. In its wake the band were nominated for the Mercury Music Prize, an Ivor Novello Award, a BRIT for Breakthrough Act and Grammy for Best Rock Performance, and took home two NME Awards.

The new record also features the acclaimed Yuk Foo, Don’t Delete The Kisses and Beautifully Unconventional, and is available to pre-order now, with all four songs available as instant grat downloads; the album vinyl comes with a bonus 7-inch when pre-ordered via the band’s store.
