Pixies braved January’s winter blizzard to travel to Water Music in Hoboken, NJ to record an acoustic performance exclusively for a Spotify Session.  Listen to the session below…

The band were joined by touring bassist Paz Lenchantin who played violin and sang background vocals, for a six song set comprised of four songs from Pixies just-released album, ‘Indie Cindy’, and two from the band’s 1987 debut, ‘Come On Pilgrim’.  Spotify also conducted a 13-track, exclusive Q&A with Pixies, where they discussed the new album, current global tour and much more.

Pixies 2013-2014 extensive global touring schedule is back in full swing beginning May 23 with a four-night stand at Australia’s Sydney Opera House.  Pixies will be in the UK to play a headline show at Field Day festival as well as a performance at Glastonbury, Catlefield Bowl and T In The Park.
