LISTEN: Prez T shares new track ‘Day That I Die’ featuring Bloodline

There are very few MCs who can lay claim to the title of ‘your MCs favourite MC’ but if there was ever to be a shortlist drwan up, Bloodline member Prez T would undoubtedly be on that list. Having been part of the Grime scene from the early days and teased his highly anticipated Stranger Returns album relentlessly, it appears that he may be ready to finally release it and ‘Day That I Die‘ is our first look into what we can expect to hear.

Featuring fellow Bloodline members Paper Pabs, Milli Major and Meridian Dan, ‘Day That I Die’ sees all four of the MCs spraying over a gritty, synth-heavy Grime beat and as you would expect, all four bring top verses. As always with Prez T tracks, his unique flow is always the talking point and this is no different.

Giving us an insight into how he prefers Garage over Dubstep and the fact that 1999 was the very last time he was an average guy, ‘Day That I Die’ sees Prez T take an introspective and almost autobiographical look into his history within the grime scene and getting his fellow Bloodline members to join him on the track further showcases that rich history.

No-one else in the grime scene sounds like Prez T and that individual sound and rhyming technique makes him a hugely exciting artist. If Stranger Returns carries on from the strong start that ‘Day That I Die’ has given it, then we can surely expect a classic grime album that will live up to the hype and justify Prez T’s legendary status.
