LISTEN: The Prodigy share new single ‘Nasty’

After over half a decade away, The Prodigy have given us an insight into their first release since 2009 album Invaders Must Die with brand new track ‘Nasty’. Just as you would expect from the UK trio, ‘Nasty’ is a harsh, brash and in no doubt an anarchic dance tune that hits you right in the teeth.  It’s not one for Sunday afternoon, lazy listening and you can’t say it’s release isn’t well timed with the general election in May.

30th March will see their new 14-track album entitled The Day Is My Enemy surface featuring collaborations with Gigslutz favourites Sleaford Mods as well as dubstep famous Flux Pavillion. Liam Howlett has recently described The Day Is My Enemy as a “mash of apocalyptic noises”.

As well as headlining Isle Of Wight Festival with Fleetwood Mac and The Black Keys, in conjunction with their new album, The Prodigy have announced a full UK tour including two massive dates at London’s Alexandra Palace that go from 9pm – 3am.
