LISTEN: Skepta shares brand new track ‘SHUTDOWN’

Fresh from the BRIT Awards where he appeared on stage with Kanye West and a number of other grime MC’s, Skepta has just shared a brand new track entitled ‘SHUTDOWN’.

Referencing his track ‘That’s Not Me’ and the previously mentioned Kanye performance, ‘SHUTDOWN sees the Boy Better Know MC flowing over a skippy grime beat and continuing to represent the scene and music that he loves. Having gained a lot of attention from across the Atlantic recently, including getting referenced and name dropped on the latest album from Drake and with the spotlight that has been over the grime scene for just over a year now intensifying, Skepta is coming to the forefront as the leader for this current generation of artists and could very well be the MC to spearhead the genre moving to the next level.
