Having already received acclaim from the likes of Stereogum, Consequence Of Sound and Gold Flake Paint, Brooklyn-based John Lutkevich, aka Soft Fangs, now follows the success of last year’s debut LP with a brand new album set for release next month.
Taken from the album is ‘Elephant Girl’. An abstract interpretation of loneliness, it’s a heart-wrenching beaut of a track. Filled with delicate, lilting melodies alongside an overpowering, sweeping emotion and Lutkevich’s raw vocals, it’s a shimmering slice of entrancing dark pop.
