LISTEN: The Staves unveil new single – ‘Steady’

Taken from their brand new album ‘If I Was’ – due for release on 23rd March – The Staves have unveiled ghostly new track ‘Steady’, produced by Justin Vernon (Bon Iver)

‘Steady’ was the joining together of two songs written by Jessica (vocals, guitar) and Camilla (vocals, ukulele). Speaking of ‘Steady’ Jessica said: “We were expecting an incoherent mess, but strangely what we each had written independently, came together without any discussion. I guess that’s when we realized just how in tune we can all be”

This new single had previously lain dormant as The Staves performed all over the world, not forgetting multiple tours with American cult heroes, Bon Iver. The band will soon be heading out on a full UK & Ireland tour in February just before the release

of their new album. This tour will include a stop at London’s Hackney Empire on 12th February. Tickets are on sale now.
